*sniffs* Do you smell that friends…allergy season is upon us; Spring is here! I would much rather take allergies than this Midwest chill, because I’m over it. One of my favorite things when the seasons change is *drumroll please*
TBR Update – Spring Edition
Now, what is a TBR, you may ask? TBR stands for “to be read”. It is simply a list or stack of books you would ideally like to read within a specific time. Whether that be in a week, a month, a season, or the whole year, this is not set in stone; as a matter of fact, throughout the year, I will absolutely have multiple TBRs depending on what I’m feeling. This then brings us to our next Book-ish word of the day, Mood Reader! It’s my favorite, as soon as the wind blows in a different direction, I’m bound to stop what I’m doing and pick up a new book without finishing my current read. Mood readers, you are safe here!
So, how do I pick my books for a Spring TBR? Spring is my wild card season. I am not a romance girly, but Spring spews love and all the feels. I read many books with flowers or light colors on the cover. This is when I read more of my contemporary books. If I’m reading a fantasy, it’s more like magical realism and nothing too epic or heavy. We’re just in a cool, calm, and relaxed vibe with a smidge of drama. I love anything that makes me cry, so tissues have multiple purposes!
