What kind of tree grows in your palm?… A palm tree!!! That was a knee-slapper, sometimes you just have to start your day off with something a little silly and nutty. Happy Earth Day friends, do you participate in any way to keep our planet safe and thriving?
Activies I love
One way I appreciate our planet is by simply being outside. I love being outdoors, listening to the birds, feeling the breeze and the sun. Sometimes the kiddo and I will go out and dance in the rain! My best friend and I have started a little ritual. Every summer we spend at least 1 day out on the water kayaking and just being able to slow down and appreciate nature’s true beauty. It’s such a fun time. I took my old pup out last year, and with her getting older, I wanted to be able to take some time and just share that moment and space with her.
Another new-ish activity we have recently come across is the 20-mile Mammoth Hike. This hike is intense yall but oh my gosh it’s such a great time. This project travels all across the U.S. and sets up a 20-mile stretch of a trail and you literally spend all day completing this. Grab some friends, break in your boots, and be prepared to have a life-changing experience that you’ll be able to share with others. One thing I will always encourage is making memories over anything.
