Fall is here! We have finally gotten through the Summer heatwave, and I can crack the windows for that crisp morning breeze. Let’s not forget Starby’s has the Pumpkin Spice Lattes in full effect. But what does that mean for my reading, you may ask? Well, let me tell you.
A Shift in Seasons
I believe I mentioned back around April that in the Spring and Summer months, I tend to read more romance. Well, with Autumn approaching, ya girl is back on the fantasy train! I am so excited because with the Autumnal vibes, the fireplace crackling, covered in blankets, it’s literally the perfect vibe for fantasy books.
Backlist Books
Backlist books or TBR vets to me are any books that have been sadly sitting on my shelves for more than 1 year. Yes, some of us collect vs read. But nevertheless, here we are and moving onward.
Newer Books on my TBR
These books I have collected this year, but they are by no means “new”. And surprisingly, most, if not all, were at on point independently published, and now have been traditionally published. If any of these look good, I would definitely check them out. I will try and link the author’s direct website for purchasing purposes if they are indie published (ie, more money directly in their pockets).
